Looking for financial help please!!

I'm here because I'm really desperate for someone to help me financially!!!! I'm at my wits end with struggling every day. I have no family or friends to ask for help, and I'm awaiting a disability pension right now. With Christmas being a huge financial burden, having bills way overdue, I can't take any more stress right now. I'm reaching out to strangers because I legitimately have nowhere else to turn. If anyone, any where can help me in any way possible please email me. Thank you from me and my kids from the bottom of my heart. I strongly believe in paying it forward, and one day I will be able to help others.

ONE DAY AT A TIME

There's an old poem/verse that's been replaying on my mind lately. I've been worrying about Christmas, and how my kids are going to feel when they realize I was telling them the truth about not having really anything to open for Christmas. Ive made them a couple crafts and managed to find a couple used books to give them. Money is seriously THAT tight right now. My three youngest all believe in Santa Claus so they keep telling me that it doesn't matter if we have gifts under our tree cuz Santa will still bring them some presents on Christmas Eve. IT breaks my heart...and I start to feel sick and panic, I would ask family for help but I don't have any. Both my parents are deceased, they died from a car crash 5 years ago. The only life insurance they had was only enough to cover their funeral expenses and their living debts. I believe in God and I do believe in miracles. I pray each day and night that somebody out there reads my story and is in a position to help me out. I know it must be really hard for a donor to pick out who they want to help or who the believe to be in the most need. When I write about my story I feel I need to add every detail in the hopes that I "win" the readers heart. I don't lie, there's nothing fictional about my story. Some people have msg'd me saying that "oh you're from Canada, you can't be poor", well there's poverty here too! Suprise suprise, it's everywhere in the world. The "free" resources some people are referring to I'm not aware of, I would most certainly utilize any help I could get locally and not feel I must resort to an online aid site. I'm so grateful there are people out there willing to listen and share what they have. One day when I'm in a better financial position I promise to myself that I will help others in whatever ways I can. I already donate time and other resources to local charities. I'll give a homeless person my last couple of dollars if I believe in my heart he really could use a bowl of soup, Anyway, I just wanted to bleed my story out one more time. And also add this poem that means so much. Let's try and live ONE DAY AT A TIME!

ONE DAY AT A TIME - YESTERDAY,TODAY AND TOMORROW

There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.

Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.

We cannot undo a single act we performed;
we cannot erase a single word we said.
Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow
with all its possible adversities, its burdens,
its large promise and its poor performance;
Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise,
either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow,
for it is yet to be born.

This leaves only one day, Today.
Any person can fight the battle of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities Yesterday and Tomorrow that we break down.

It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad,
it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.

Let us, therefore, Live but one day at a time.

 BLESS YOU ALL MY FRIENDS.

Hi there.

I read your story and you sound like a true champion. Seriously, not many women could go through what you have and be so optimistic. Your girls are very lucky to have you in their lives. I have nothing but friendship to offer you, possibly some leads in areas you dont know about. I'm from Canada, but I've got some info on areas in the USA. I've met some great people on here, everyone's pretty much here for the same reason - they need "aid". I just wanted to introduce myself and wish you a Happy Holiday. Good luck on your ventures...and may the Lord Bless you and your little family.

Take care, your friend, April

Canadian's Needing Christmas Help?

Greetings from CANADA! I know I'm not alone on this site, so if there are others from Canada that would like some info re: Organizations that assist with Xmas gifts for kids, I've got a few so msg me on here and give me your location, I am glad to help.

I strongly believe we're all here for unity. I choose to help others that are in need of what I can offer whether it be knowledge, a listening ear, advice, cyber hug...etc and above all that, I would like to make friends. I have a big heart and think it would be just awesome if everyone just PAID IT FORWARD! or at the very least, "TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED"...that's just the oldest and best advice to help spin the world around with love....

Talk to me later...

Blessings and joy to all...

Happy Holidayz to everyone! May the good LORD bless each and every one!

THERE IS NO HELP NO PRAYERS

Wow, my heart goes out to you. The good Lord works wonders, and this time of year even more miracles happen when you're not expecting it. Where do you live? I'm from Canada, and we have some emergency type programs for electricity cut offs....I may be able to steer you to an agency?? As far as your son is concerned, just keep in mind he's obviously hurting and scared too. Try and talk to him and maybe ask your local church kids minister to talk with him and try your best to help him understand that Christmas isn't just about gifts. It's not everything. Kids live up to the expectations they've been taught all along. And your husband, well it sounds like he's scared too to be talking about taking his life....that must be very stressful for you. I hope that you can get some help for your situation. I'll say a little prayer for you.

Keep me posted if you wish and let me know where u live.

Peace and blessings my friend,

April

Looking for Christmas toy assistance?

 in response to lisag4966...

Hey Lisa,

I'm not sure what your zipcode is, but I googled where you live and came up with 75681 and punched it into their search and 2 organizations came up within 50 mile radius. I've copied and pasted the info and I'll send you the link here, wouldn't hurt to call them and see? Good luck with that. I also know that most Salvation Armies offer some type of help for Christmas. Let me know how you make out...and keep your chin up.

I would like to help in a little way

To Liny...the world really needs more people like yourself. Christmas isn't all about how many gifts we recieve, nor what we recieve. This Christmas is challenging for many people. I've got four kids on my own and we're on social assistance but I've explained to my kids, that I do my best, and that's what I can do this year. Our circumstances may change next year, but they know it's not all about presents. We're donating our time on Christmas eve at the homeless shelter. My kids see others that are worse off than us and they're grateul for what they DO have. We focus on being grateful for the important things in life. Food, air to breathe, clothing on our backs, laughter, love and HOPE, these are all free. I just wanted to let you know my thoughts. I agree that it doesn't take alot to put a smile on someone's face, Just showing someone that you care, a kind gesture, is what this world needs. Pay it forward is my motto. I pray that more and more people adopt this and live by it. Unfortunately the world has become way too commercialized and so many are losing sight of why we celebrate Christmas in the first place.

Peace and Blessings to you and yours.

Take care,

April

My Daughters Decay

Hi Allisandra! I read over your post and I'm in a similar situation. I live in Peterborough, Ontario and I know our local public health unit offers assistance with dental costs. Also, there's a new program with the government of Canada (or could be Ontario) that says all neccesary procedures for children will be covered. I'm advising you to try your local health unit first, they should be able to help. If not, they'll know which government program it is that can help. Good luck with your daughter. Let me know how you make out.

Peace and Blessings to you and yours...

Take care,

April

Here I am 1 year later...same boat different waters

Just wanted to update my profile, and it's one year later. I"m in the same kind of situation other than a lot of my goals have changed. I just recently found out that I'm ill. The kind of ill that is going to take much miraculous recovery to heal. My life is in an upheavel right now with my kids, my health and finances. Can't forget about money...or lack of for that matter. I pray each and every day, sometimes multiple times for help. Like I've mentioned before I don't want to be needy or feel like a mooch. Other than this site, I don't reach out. Most of the people around me know my situation and sometimes offer to help. I know many people are still trying to recover from this recession we've experienced and it seems as though not many people have extra money to help others. The world is so unbalanced. and it's sad....but, I have to keep my hopes and faith up up up...I will not fall down....I will add more later, I must go to an appt. Take care and may the good lord bless and keep you all safe and at peace.

About freedomfairyneeded

Hi everyone

I am 31 years old, single mother with four beautiful children. The kids father is not financially able to support them, therefore I'm relying on Social assistance. I am going to go back to school and hopefully college one day soon to better my life for me and my kids. Right now, I'm very far in debt with my rent and bills. I believe very much in "pay it forward"  and the golden rule "Treat others the way you want to be treated". I know one day if I'm in a position to help out someone else, I would in a heartbeat. I'd just like to get through this hurdle and move on to bigger and better things. I appreciate any feedback or "hellos". Thanks a bunch!
